...but I'm still not seeing a point in having triple card setups, or even dual for that matter, on an AMD CPU. At least, not for another generation and chipset release.
Show me where any of these results rule out a 990 board. Yes, AMDs CPUs are not near as power efficient. Ok. To many, that doesn't matter, especially with such low idle usage. Most PCs spend 90%+ idle.
Wow this definitely looks like the most native SATA ports I've ever seen on an mITX. Definitely suitable for a NAS/Home Server. I've just finished two Trinity builds and working on a third (HTPC). So far the performance has been great and temps are great.
Yup... I'm now trying to decide an Intel build with a P8H77-I or use this for an AMD build. I trust Asus's VRM implementation more than ASRock's especially for a 23/7/365 server.
Finally an FM2 motherboard in the form factor the APU is most likely to see use in. I was a bit baffled why everyone only offered full-sized ATX boards at launch, when HTPC is where AMD's APU will really shine.
I'm very interested in a review of this miniITX board, but I'd also like to see a review of a MSI model, FM2-A75IA-E53 (http://www.msi.com/product/mb/FM2-A75IA-E53.html) given that that one incorporates WiFI, Bluetooth out of the box. I've been pondering and mulling about building a special "console PC" for the living room to take some multimedia and gaming chores, but the dearth of miniITX FM2 Mobos is kind of letting me down.
I was thinking of using a Lian-Li PC-Q12, so i'd also be interested in seeing that case at least considered for review on the HTPC/living room concept builds.

If you use your PC for other stuff than gaming, I could see a few usages.jesh462 - Monday, January 7, 2013 - link

The FM2A85X-ITX looks clever, a very powerful yet small board.JlHADJOE - Monday, January 7, 2013 - link
